“Memphis” Collection by Shirokov
The name of the “Memphis” collection by Shirokov echoes the legendary Italian Memphis Group of designers from the 1980s — known for their expressive, dynamic style, bold artistic experiments, and complete disregard for traditional design rules. The group was founded and led by Milanese designer Ettore Sottsass, a visionary who believed that design should always provoke emotion and awaken a sense of wonder.
According to artist Natalia Obukhova, inspiration for this collection came from an article featuring a stunningly designed parking layout created by the famous Italian designer. She reinterpreted some of the elements in her own way, adding new details — the result is a bright, spirited, and playfully rebellious décor.
The miniature bowls, soup plates, appetizer, and dinner plates, all crafted from pristine fine bone china, share a common style yet each piece features its own unique pattern.
Care instructions: dishwasher safe on a delicate cycle without abrasive detergents. Microwave safe.
