Products from the Azur collection are distinguished by an elegant decoration, which is a modern design on the theme of the famous Cobalt Net of the Imperial Porcelain Factory. The inspiration for the design was a mid-XVIII century dining set belonged to the Russian Tsarina Elizabeth Petrovna. Like its historical prototype, the design, made in the 21st century, is modeled after the popular “trellis grating” in the middle of the 18th century, which corresponds to the tastes of the Rococo epoch. The basic rhythm, set by a strict geometric pattern, is softened by the artist Yulia Chistyakova with the help of a delicate color scheme and golden accents in the form of Christmas stars of different sizes.
