“Purple” Collection by Shirokov
The “Purple” collection came to life almost like magic, when artists Natalia Obukhova and Natalia Velsh wondered what would happen if, after cutting out a paper snowflake, they valued not the snowflake itself but the random scraps left behind.
To their surprise, these fragments turned out to be true treasures — resembling precious crystals that assembled into mesmerizing patterns.
Once the ornaments took shape, the artists felt inspired to color them in regal hues — royal purple, baroque pink, and gold. The name of the collection also carries a secret meaning: throughout history, the color purple has symbolized luxury, mystery, and extravagance, once valued for the rarity and complexity of its creation.
Thus, through the playful power of imagination, new objects of admiration were born.
